The user interface art created for the video game, Operation: Germ, created during the 2-week Gwinnett County Game Jam, with the theme of Beneath the Surface.

To fit with the Operation: Germ's story and overall theme of the player being a secret agent taking down foreign threats to the body, the menus take inspiration from detective files and the idea of secrecy.

02 IN-GAME
The in-game user interface consists of a player health bar, player attack slots, and quick visual guide showing how to collect attacks next to the attack slots. The user interface design takes inspiration from the player character being black and white, helping the player better relate the user interface to the player rather than the enemy.

03 GAME STATES
The game states consists of two results screens: Mission Failed and Mission Completed. Like the previous of user interface works, the color palette takes inspiration from the player character, and the overall theme of the game.
It plays with the idea of the agent's picture being taken as he, either (1) runs away from the enemy (mission failed) or (2) wins against the enemy (mission completed), with the photo clipped onto a yellow folder with a paper clip.
